Making an Impact.

Our mission is to make emerging ideas thrive and contribute to a better world. Through independent publishing, media and creative services delivered with integrity, we connect ideas with audiences and create lasting value for our clients, creators and communities.

Governance

Strong leadership, clear accountability and long-term stewardship

As a proudly independent, family-owned business, Hardie Grant is governed by an experienced Board and supported by a robust governance framework that ensures accountability, transparency and long-term stewardship. With clear separation between the Chair and CEO, formal oversight of financial, social and environmental performance, and structured committees addressing diversity, environmental impact and reconciliation, our governance model embeds responsible decision-making at every level.

People

Creating a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace where every voice is heard and valued. A snapshot of our employee voice, diversity and wellbeing initiatives highlights our ongoing commitment to building a workplace where people can thrive. Accountability is continuous, with structured surveys and public reporting informing our progress.

Community

Building meaningful connections and long-term relationships with First Nations peoples and creators. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and are committed to fostering meaningful, long-term relationships with First Nations peoples, creators, and businesses.

B Corp

Hardie Grant is currently in the Verification Phase of our B Corp Certification. We have chosen the B Corp framework because it provides a rigorous, independently verified standard for measuring social and environmental performance. Once our accreditation is finalised, our full BIA Scorecard will be available here.
