Hardie Grant Books, one of Australia’s leading independent publishing companies, is looking for a creative and motivated marketing manager to join our busy Melbourne marketing team.
Working on an exciting list of local and international non-fiction books throghout the year, from food and wine to memoir, biography, sport, pop-culture, travel and design, the successful candidate will be driven to achieve comprehensive and creative marketing campaigns which encompass a range of activities that maximise sales, lead digital strategy and report in to key stakeholders on ROI and activity.

Our food and wine books are now recognised as some of the world’s best, carrying off major international awards as well as many of Australia’s most highly regarded design awards.
Reporting to the marketing and publicity manager, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys a stimulating and fast-paced working environment and have a minimum of 4 years’ marketing experience, including working on campaigns, identifying and reaching key audiences, managing a budget, stakeholder and staff management as well as digital marketing and social media.
They will love working in a team and be a digital native. Previous experience in book publishing is preferred but not essential.
