The beautiful Folk Art range of stationery is the brainchild of Dinara Mirtalipova, a self-taught pattern designer and illustrator born and raised in Uzbekistan.
Her whimsical and instantly recognisable handcrafted work is inspired by her Uzbek ethnic background and family life with its tradition of story telling. Her designs are still heavily influenced by the rich history of Uzbek/Russian folklore and culture, which has been passed from generation to generation by her ancestors. Dinara uses a wide range of materials and tools such as carving lino blocks, gouache and acrylics.
The debut range features notebooks and notecards.
