Ever since Where the Wild Things Are, SaggyBaggy Elephant and Fungus the Bogeyman, David has been fascinated with picture books, often in trouble from librarians when seen reading them at an age that was reckoned older than appropriate. Fortunately his fascination was stronger than any chiding, and a vast count of years later he now has the greatest delight being able to draw and even write picture books that have his name on them too.
